He hasn't always been a house cat. He used to be a stray, until he moved in with some humans (who didn't know he was there). In fact, he's actually a raccoon. When his humans leave for vacation, he feels abandoned and invites the neighbourhood “strays” to keep him company. The real house cat is not so impressed.
